Today was Logan's very first friend party. He has gone to some but it is the first one for him. He was so excited. He invited 6 friends from his class. 3 girls and 3 boys. (Madison, Alena, Marina, Garrett, Mason and Justin) I told Logan it was up to him as to who he wanted to invite, but we would only have 6 kids. The day turned out perfect. In the morning, Todd went and got 2 loads of mulch with the trailer, then we had a soccer game at 11:45, which they won, and then the party was from 2:30-5:00. The kids all played great today. There wasn't one issue and non of the kids acted like maniacs. Sometimes when Logan has friends over, Logan forgets the rules and acts like a crazy person. Logan had a bunch of games planned. The weather was awesome so we did most of the party outside. We started out with Mario Bingo, then Musical Chairs, Hot Potato, a relay race (which Todd ended up participating in because Hudson started crying saying it was too hard) (of course Todd's team won although it was VERY close). Logan then opened up a few presents, the kids played on the swingset, then we did cake and ice cream. We followed up with the pinata. That was a hit. Then they ate candy from the pinata and played tag and on the swingset and finally it was 5:00 already. It was an awesome party. Once the kids left we had dinner, and went back out to enjoy the weather and play, Todd continued mulching and I cleaned out the car. it is taking forever to post the pics today so i will put them on FB.
