ultrasound

18 weeks now. just had my ultrasound. baby was measuring right on target. 8oz, heart beat was 161. The tech was teasing us. . . saying " i know what the baby is" We do not. Logan wanted to find out, but we resisted. Hudson said he is hoping for a girl, Logan wants a healthy baby and Campbell was more enthralled with the chair rides with wheels that Daddy was giving to him. Here are the pics. The baby didn't want to turn around and give us a really good face shot so what can you do. We have (not in any order) profile,2 face shots, 2 arms and hands. The one is great with the 5 fingers showing, we told the boys the baby was waving at them. The other one the thumb is tucked down like showing the number 4. She tried to get both legs and feet in a pic but the baby kept moving them, so the boys did get to see the feet and legs along with the body organs (bladder, spleen, stomach and lungs), head, top of head, stomach, leg bones and pelvis bones, spine, heart beat, and placenta. I think that is it. All looked great and I go back in 4 weeks for a check up right b4 we leave for Disney. enjoy. sorry the pics are so small. not sure how to scan them to make them bigger.

Disney- here we come!!!

So I have been thinking a lot lately about making a 2nd trip to Disney. It was such a great time and as of right now 3 kiddos will be easier to take than 4 and Campbell still flies for free. . . So I did our taxes and figured our refund and booked the trip. We go in a month!!! I can't wait. I will still not be huge yet and am now finally feeling better so I figured it was the perfect time to go. In other news- Logan is student of the month again at school. They pick one kid from each class each month. So there are lots of students of the month each month but still an honor. Logan also got his report card and received all E+'s and one E. Great report card that earned him $10. He now has $20 saved up from report cards and is saving to buy. . . you guessed it. . . a wii game:) This Tuesday I have my ultrasound so we are taking everyone. Logan will just go to school late that day. The baby is kicking all around now. I started feeling it about a week ago. In other news- I will be signing Hudson up for preschool next week and he will start in the fall. In Really Big news- Campbell is all done nursing. His last day was January 25th. Now at nap and bedtime we sing a few songs, cuddle and then I lay him down with a cup of water and he has been doing great. Sometimes when he wakes in the morning he asks for it but I just say it is all done, he is sad for a minute but quickly recovers.So now I get about 4 months off before nursing our final baby. I think he is just hungry in the morning but I don't always feel like getting out of bed at 6am, so he usually watches tv in our bed until everyone is awake or it is time to get out of bed. He is such a grown up boy:) He talks so much. Whenever he says something new, Logan and Hudson always say- we should write that down, He says so much I can't even remember all that he says.
He will be 22 months tomorrow. I can't believe he is almost 2 years old.

Sledding and fun

Well, we definitely took advantage of the snow this weekend. On Saturday, we all went out to play for a bit, until Campbell got to cold. It was fun but chilly, then on Sunday even though the snow was melting we headed to our favorite hill (behind Dr. Golonka's office) to go sledding. The snow was really melted away. You could tell people had been there all day long. It was a little muddy and icy. The parts where the grass was showing was really covered with ice so you really went flying. Campbell LOVED it. After going down each time he would sign "more." Logan and Hudson thought it was awesome. They did really great. Never once complaining about climbing up the hills. It was a nice and relaxing weekend. Dave, Brenda and the girls came over Saturday night for dinner and to let the kids play. I have been feeling a bit better so that is terrific. 17 weeks now. I think I am feeling the baby moving a little. That is one of the only things about being pregnant that I really enjoy. I am still taking my meds but only once a day now and I am hoping to wean myself off of those this week. I am afraid to just stop. So I thought I would go slowly. This week, we are meeting my friend Christine and Brady at the mall, having a playdate with a boy from Logan's class, we have PSR, cub scouts, I have book club, storytime, Todd has 2 soccer games and Bingo Night at Logan's school. Lil'. . . no make that BIG STINKER!!!!!

So this past week, Campbell has been TROUBLE. . . with a capital T. He had been off from napping since the holidays which meant he was really crabby. The good news is that he is back on track with naps but the bad news is he has decided to start getting up extra early. .. like 5:15ish. Which results in him being tired and cranky and when he is tired he seems to be naughtier. So this week- we had 3 temper tantrums -one at a playdate because I would not let him into the wii games at a friend's house, one at the PTO board meeting (I am secretary), luckily it was only at the PTO pres house and there were only 5 of us there, and the 3rd was at Melissa and Derek's engagement party because he didn't want his PJs on. He usually screams at the top of his lungs for about 30 min all the while throwing things if they are available or even laying on the ground. I usually just let him cry it out because he is so out of his element at the time it is happening that he doesn't even think clearly. Then all of a sudden he calms down and he is back to being good ole Campbell. Then this week he got into my permanent markers and wrote on the basement door, wood floor, side of fridge, and a few toys. I tried magic eraser and it only lightened it. The icing on the cake was Saturday morning. We were all awake and in our bedroom watching disney at 6:30am, Todd and I trying to get any last little bit of sleep that was possible and somehow Campbell opened a bottle of pink nail polish and emptied the entire bottle all over the floor (about 3x3 area) without us noticing until Logan said "oh no, Campbell has your nail polish" by then it was too late. So I spent 4 hours breathing fumes and cleaning the polish out of the carpet. It does look better but not 100%. I went through 7 bottles of nail polish remover, a bunch of windex (read online it was supposed to help), oxyclean and finally today I shampooed the carpet. It has just been a bad week for him. But I thought I wanted to document this. Campbell is 21 months old and full of trouble!!!!

cute story

Hudson said something cute the other day and I just wanted to write about it. SO Campbell has been really crabby at nap for about the last 2 weeks. Instead of sleeping, be screams at the top of his lungs for 2 hours everyday, never falling asleep. So I got this baby frame for Christmas for the new baby and Hudson looks at it and says "is this our baby??" I told him no it is just a picture of a baby that came with the frame. He says " well we should get this baby because he is sleeping and not crying" So true Hudson, so true.

2012

Happy 2012 everyone. We had a low key New Years this year. The boys had lots of fun playing wii- rockband and just dance. We had a few friends over but they left pretty early since we all have little ones to get to bed. Logan and Hudson got to stay up until 10pm. . .pretty late for them. I am 14 weeks already and in my 2nd trimester. Time flies when you are throwing up. and yes, I am still throwing up. I might have a day or perhaps two that I don't throw up but then I make up for it. Did you know that toilet water has a different smell then faucet water (even if the toilet has just been cleaned and did you know that toilet paper actually had a slightly salty smell to it. Just some pregnancy facts. I feel like I am looking slightly preggo now (who am I kidding, I looked slightly preggo b4 getting pregnant since having 3 kids basically ruined my stomach muscles) and I have gain 2 lbs back. Must be the junk food I am eating. For some reason junk food is easier to eat than healthy food. Sweets are gross and almost always make me throw up. I think junk food might break down quicker in your body b/c when it comes back up it looks more digested than say salad which looks just like salad when it comes back up.
Today we finally are getting some snow. It is almost a white out right now. I wanted the kids to be able to go out. They are out now and having a blast with Todd. He had to go out and help Campbell who is so stuffed into clothes he is having a hard time walking. They started playing in the backyard and now they are shoveling the driveway. enjoy the pics
