Paislee- 2 months old
2 months old already. She went to the dr today for her check up. She did great. A resident came in and saw us first. He was very thorough. He was impressed with her head control. He also thought it was great that I was nursing her. He said that too few people nurse their babies and that it is a shame because there are so many benefits. He said I should be a spokeswomen for Rainbow/UH because too few people breastfeed their baby there. Paislee is growing great. 12.5 lbs and 23.5 inches. 90% for both. She is the smallest of all the kids. Logan was 14.8, Hudson 16.5 and Campbell 14lbs. I think part of this is that she is a girl and most girls are smaller than boys and she also sleeps really good at night. She only nurses 1x. . maybe 2. The boys were up every 2 hours like clockwork so they were getting a lot more calories. She is such a happy baby. Very smiley and loves, loves, loves her brothers. Here are a few pics from her little photo shoot:)
Hudson update
Hudson is starting preschool on Tuesday, Sept. 4th. He is excited but nervous. He is worried about leaving me. I know he will be fine but I hope there are not any tears on his part. He is so smart and had so much fun playing at meet the teacher. I think it is just the unknown. He hasn't been away from me yet so this will be good for him. He seems a little shy around his teachers. I know that once he gets to know them he will be fine. Here are some pics of his school. He has two teachers- Mrs. Dubecky and the assistant Miss Sandy. Both are really nice.
Logan Update
Logan has been pretty busy lately. Football, soccer and school and soon PSR will start up. I will be his teacher again for that. Logan just finished his first full week of school. 2nd grade already. He seems to love his teacher, Mrs, Brown. I think he has been tired with school and football and soccer practices. He loves school though so that is terrific. He is so smart. I can't wait to see what 2nd grade brings. Here are some pics.

Weekend
Summer is officially winding down. Logan starts school on Wednesday, we have meet the teacher on Tuesday night and we just found out who Logan's teacher will be. It is Mrs. Brown. Logan seems very excited. I don't know her so we will see what the new year brings. There are a couple of kids he knows in his class. I am looking forward to another great year. I can't believe he is already in 2nd grade. Hudson goes next week to his school for an orientation. Then he starts on Sept 4th. He will be going T and Th from 9-12. I think he is excited and nervous. I will be sad to see him go, but I know he will have so much fun. Hudson also started soccer. He has practices on Friday night from 6-7. His coaches are a husband wife duo. . . not too sure about their soccer skills though. He had fun so that is good. Just hope he learns something and continues to enjoy it. Today, we had a scrimmage for Logan's football team at the high school. Logan's team lost. It seems like Logan still doesn't really know what is going on. The first play he went in a bigger kid went to block him and he got pushed back. He seemed scared. The rest of the plays he kinda just started walking backwards when the other teams came at him so he wouldn't really be in the mix. He did jump in on one tackle though. He played defense for this game. Next up is his travel soccer game. It is only in Medina at fields about 10 min from our house. In other kid news, Paislee is now 7 weeks old. I weighed her today and on my scale she seems to be about 11 lbs. She is now in size 2 diapers. She loves her brothers and loves to smile and "talk" to them. Hope he does well. Here are a few pics.

Pittsburgh
Monday and Tuesday we went on a little mini vaca to Pittsburgh. It was a great trip. We left about 8:30 am and headed out. Paislee did pretty good. I had to pull over in the emergency parking on the turnpike to feed her once because we were not close to a rest stop and she was screaming. It wasn't too bad because we were off to the side a bit, so it was safer. Then a nice police man stopped to check to make sure we were alright. Todd told him what we were doing and then he left. We made it to the zoo, ate lunch and then headed to the train. After that we went in the opposite direction this time so that we could start with the children's section. The weather was great and we all had a good time. Logan said his favorite part was the sting rays and Hudson said his was the elephant pooping:) We got done around 5, then headed to our hotel. We got settled, ordered pizza and then Todd and the boys swam while I sat with Paislee. She was so tired then so I took her up to the room to put her to bed. Logan and Hudson slept in one bed, Todd, Campbell and I slept in another and Paislee slept in the pack n play. They all did pretty good sleeping. We ate breakfast at the hotel then swam again before heading out. We got to Idlewild, ate lunch while I fed Paislee and then headed to storybook forest. They all loved it. Then we did the jungle play area. Todd then look Logan and Hudson on the log ride. They loved it. It was not crowded at all and they rode it 2x in a row. Then we headed to the kids section. When we were on the train ride, we saw a deer and Logan said "I think that deer is giving birth" I laughed and said "why would you say that??" He said "because she was squatting", I said " she was bent over eating grass, how does a deer squat anyway???" it was kinda funny. Campbell loved the airplanes and I think Logan and Hudson's favorite was the dodgems. Then we tried some big kid rides. The Whip was a HIT> Logan and Hudson loved it. You go in an oval and then it whips you around the curves. We left around 8:30 by the time we got pjs on and I fed Paislee. We got mcdonalds on the way home and then got home around 12ish. Everyone slept the whole way home. We will definitely go back again next year.
