Paislee - 8 months old

I am going to say Happy 8th month old birthday a few days early since there is no 29th this month. Baby Girl is getting so big- 2 teeth now ( you can see them if you look close), crawling all over, self feeding puffs (getting better at not gagging, once she stops then I will start cutting up veggies for her), talks a lot. Loves to make this fire engine sound. It is her signature sound. Starting to get into "trouble". . . boys really have to make sure all their little toys are off the ground. Once the weather gets nicer I will take her out of her carrier and put her in the regular carseat. Weighs about 18 lbs now. Such a wonderful little girl, but she is growing up too fast.

Almost Spring???

Well, we are ready for Spring here at the Butler house.  I have noticed a few signs of spring- more birds, roadkill (i guess the animals are done hibernating) and Todd saw 2 raccoons the other day.  We have been busy with the usual weekly stuff- basketball practice, Todd soccer, PSR, Logan soccer, school, games on Saturdays, ect.  I just signed Logan up for baseball for this spring.  It will still be coach pitch for him this year and they play their games at Huntington so it will be nice and close. We will probably even walk to games.  Last Thursday, after soccer practice Logan got sick.  Stomach flu. . . he was sick from Thursday night - Wed.  Finally he went back to school today.  I kept him in the computer room and just disinfected and disinfected and disinfected.  It felt like all I did was cleaned.  Then Sunday night Campbell woke up throwing up and then #3 too.  So he had to go in computer room too.  Hudson was pretty lonely without them and the house was so quiet.  I told Todd. ..(Logan and Campbell were upstairs, Paislee was sleeping and it was just Hudson downstairs) . . . could you imagine if we only had one kid.  It was so quiet and the house was so clean.  It would totally be a different life. . . But I love the one we have- as crazy, loud, and rushed as we always are I wouldn't trade it for anything.  But it was nice spending some one on one time with Hudson and boy did he talk. . .  and talk . . .and talk. . . he never had to compete for our ears and he took full advantage of it:)  Hard to believe that March is tomorrow.  It will be a busy month with Campbell's 3rd birthday and Easter along with all the other stuff that we always have going on.  Hudson's school has been studying birthday celebrations around the world and they had a celebration party  to show all the parents what they have learned.  Countries they focused on were Germany- United States, China, Africa, Ecuador and Mexico. He had a lot of fun.  Here are a bunch of pics from the last few days.

Valentines Day

Paislee's first valentines day.  What a great day.  I decorated the house with paper hearts everywhere, then they ate "love muffins" for breakfast, and each child had a homemade card from me telling them all sorts of things I love about them.  Then it was off to school.  Logan had a party but his school is really tight about letting parents in so I wasn't able to go help and Hudson didn't really have a party.  So I ran to the balloon store and picked up a bunch of v-day balloons for them and tied them to their kitchen chairs and a DQ cake for dessert.  After school, I created a valentines day scavenger hunt with 10 clues all around the house.  They loved doing this.  It was really cute.  At the end they found their prizes/presents.  Everyone got new bathing suits (Paislee got 2- a super cute black and white binkini and a more practical one with a sunshirt and bottoms) and angry bird sunglasses.  They also received tickets to see ELMO LIVE! later this month.  There was also a coupon for Chuck E Cheese, which we went to last night.  Lastly, they all received some chocolates from Malleys. . . Daddy got some too:).  Then after dinner Logan and I had a date and went to his school's skate night.  It was so much fun.  He is getting much better on roller skates.  What a great valentines day.  xoxoxox

Logan also just lost his 6th tooth.
